Magic Shoppe were the first non-Canadian act to join Optical Sounds and the story is one of legend amongst those closest to the scene. Josiah had discovered the label and met The Hoa Hoa’s in his hometown of Buffalo for a gig in early 2009. A night later, his band – Magic Shoppe – were signed to the label as well

Reverberation

Reverberation is a collection of songs recorded after Josiah moved to Boston coupled with re-mixed songs from the previous released debut, titled Reverb EP.

This CD consists of 8 songs and prove that Magic Shoppe crawled from the same inspirational lava pool that gave the world Spacemen 3, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Warlocks and “Methodrone” era Brian Jonestown Massacre.
