Toronto, Ontario, Canada is primed to emerge as the “next big thing” in independent music. A number of musicians, bands, artists and personalities make Toronto’s underground scene one filled with mayhem and promise and it is the goal of Optical Sounds – Canada’s newest independent record label – to bring this scene to the rest of the world. Established in 2008, Optical Sounds aims to give the wide–ranging Toronto scene a platform to call home.
